If I may ask; who is like you oh Lord? You’re too faithful to fail me, your mercies and grace has overwhelmed my weaking soul. And right I have all it takes to praise and worship thy holy name.
The weights you’re, no words in any dictionary can carry it. The dept of who you’re, no one born of a man or woman can ever see it. You’re wonderful God alone and no one or gods like you.
The Scriptures show us how powerfully the people of God expressed His majesty and might. They witnessed the seas part, their enemies defeated and God’s protection made manifest, and they put their amazement to song. Thousands of years later, their words still reveal God’s wonder.
This same God continues to work mightily in our time. We, too, have witnessed His faithfulness, power, and love in our lives.
While we will always treasure and sing the ancient songs, we must also declare His ever-fresh mercies in ways that speak to our encounters with Him.
Let’s look into what the Bible has to say concerning this Great God.
‘Who Is Like You’ carries forward this sacred tradition so that a generation will be aware of His greatness.
Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?” Psalms 71:19 NKJV
“O Lord God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty Lord? Your faithfulness surrounds You [as an intrinsic, unchangeable part of Your very being].” Psalms 89:8 AMP
““To whom will you liken Me, or who is My equal?” asks the Holy One.” Isaiah 40:25 BSB
“How great You are, O Lord GOD! For there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.” 2 Samuel 7:22 BSB
However, “Who Is Like You? by Dunsin Oyekan (a Nigerian talented worship leader and gospel artist), is all about praising God and recognizing that there is no one else like Him. It’s a song of worship that focuses on God’s greatness, power and love.
When Dunsin sings “Who is like You, Lord?” he’s not really asking a question, he’s making a statement.
He’s saying, “God, there is truly no one like You. You are above everything.” It’s a song of deep admiration and awe, where he acknowledges that God is unique and unmatched.
Also, another message in this song is humility. It reminds us that God is far greater than we are, and because of that, we should always honor Him. It teaches us to step back and acknowledge that without Him, we are nothing.
Finally, this wonderful ministration is a beautiful way to express our love for God and to worship Him with all our hearts.
If you ever need a song that helps you focus on God and draw closer to Him, this is definitely one to listen to. It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that our God is beyond compare. Hallelujah!!!
