Waooooo!!! This a wonderful gospel song that uplifts my spirit and soul for worship. Usually, I pray without listening to song but this changed the narrative, as now I usually get my spirit man lifted with this amazing song on daily basis.
Well, I know so many people will not appreciate or understand the real meaning of this song but let me do justice to that.
“Ogba Aka Ejeagha” by That Voice (a Nigerian talented woman of God who is dedicated to worship the Lord with her impactful ministrations) is an Igbo-Nigerian song that means “Someone who goes to battle without any weapon for defence.”
Here, this song of worship talks about how God Almighty won our battles without using gun, machet, or any armor for defence. He gave us victory over the fiery darts of the evil and his cohorts.
With that being said, “The One whose hands fight battles” is referring to God as a mighty warrior who fights for His people. This means the song is about God’s power, protection and victory over challenges.
This is a worship song that talks about God being a great defender. It reminds us that we are not alone in life’s struggles because God is always fighting for us. No matter what battles we face, whether spiritual, emotional or physical, God is stronger than all of them.
The song encourages us to put our trust in God completely. Instead of worrying about our problems, we should remember that God is already handling them. It’s like saying, “I don’t have to fight on my own because God is fighting for me.”
Another important message in this song is thanksgiving and praise. Because God is our protector, the right response is to worship Him.
The singer, sister The Voice, is saying, “God, You have always been faithful. You have never failed me, and I give You all the praise!”
In summary, this song is a powerful worship song that reminds us of God’s strength. It encourages us believers to trust Him, knowing that He fights for us.
Instead of worrying, we should worship because victory is already ours through God. Therrfore, whenever you feel overwhelmed, just remember: Ogba Aka Ejeagha—God is the one fighting for you and He never loses! Hallelujah!!!
