Mercy Chinwo - EZE Ft. Preye Odede

Many faithful believers and Christians don’t know how mighty and powerful Jehovah God is to them. He is the King of all kings (Eze ndi eze) and His leadership can’t be compared with any other ruler here on earth and above.

As Children of the Most High, we are entitled to ride and act in dominion in all we do. God promised us that He won’t allow us to be consumed by the arrows of the devil and his cohorts.

That His plans is to bring us to our expected end. He promises to grant us ALL our heart desires. Therefore, have in mind that you have supreme father who protects, provides and preserves. I call Him EZE ndi eze, and there is no one like you.

With that said, EZE is a wonderful gospel song by Nigerian former Nigerian Idol winner, multiple award winner, mother, worship and praise leader, Mercy Chinwo featuring another Nigerian gospel singer and preacher, in the person of Preye Odede.

Let me explain in details; first of all, Eze means “King” in Igbo, one of the dominant languages (others are Hausa and Youruba) spoken in Nigeria.

In this song, Mercy Chinwo and Preye Odede are singing about how great and powerful God is. They are calling Him “Eze” because He is the King above all kings.

The song is full of gratitude. They are basically saying, “God, You are too much! You have done so many amazing things in my life and I can’t even thank You enough.”

They are looking back at everything God has done, His protection, His blessings, His love, and they are just in awe.

One of the main message of the song is how God is bigger than human understanding. Sometimes, we try to explain God’s greatness, but words are not enough.

That’s why they sing, “Eze, no one like You!” It’s like saying, “God, I’ve searched everywhere, I’ve seen many things, but nobody compares to You.”

They also talk about how God is faithful and never changes. No matter what happens, He remains the same—always good, always powerful, always loving. They are not just praising God for what He has done but also for who He is.

Another beautiful part of the song is how it mixes different languages, English and Igbo. This makes the worship feel even deeper and more powerful as if they are saying, “God is the King of all people not just one group.”

In my personal view, Eze is a heartfelt song of worship and thanksgiving. It’s a song you sing when you just want to appreciate God for His goodness and power.

It reminds us that God is greater than everything, and He deserves all the glory.

So, whenever you feel overwhelmed by life or just want to celebrate God, this is the perfect song to sing. It lifts your heart, fills you with gratitude and reminds you that no matter what, God is in control. Jehovah God is EZE ndi eze.Hallelujah!
