In the year 2023, specifically, September, a guy was admitted into our hospital due to substace abuse, but thank God after some months of proper treatment and care, he was discharged in good shape.
While he was at the hospital he used to discuss with me on daily basis, and whenever he noticed I am not around, he will pick up his phone and dial my number.
He was more than a patient to me at that time. He saw me as someone closer to him like a sibling. He usually open up to me concerning his journey of life as a vibrant young man.
But before he left the hospital, he told me that he will be leaving for UK (United Kingdom) for his Master Degree programme (academic pursuit) in the nearest future.
After some months, we lost contacts and his number, when dialed, is no longer reachable. With time I forgot about him and move on with my life.
But just few days back, a foreign number chatted me up on WhatsApp and when I checked the profile, I realised that it was my long lost friend. And I asked him “where have you been.”
With that being said, I believe Kelly Clarkson did this very song in perspective of a friend or lover who has been away for a very long time and she has been waiting to see him again in order for them to share those beautiful memories both had together.
As for me, this is an impressive song that worth your listening attention in respect to someone you loved who is not available at the moment.
