Google says ‘Thank you’ to doctors, nurses & medical workers with doodle

The coronavirus outbreak has brought the world to a standstill. With businesses around the world shutting shop, the economy taking a severe hit and most countries being in lockdown, all of us are fighting coronavirus the best way we can.

However, in this pandemic, the medical community including doctors, nurses and the medical staff are the warriors who are fighting this disease on the frontlines and are putting their lives at risk to keep us safe.

In a bid to honour the frontline healthcare workers, Google came up with a doodle which displays a ‘thank you’ message for the doctors, nurses and the medical staff. The colourful, vibrant doodle captures the spirit of the hardwork of the essential service providers.

The doodle, on hovering the mouse, shows a message “To all doctors, nurses and medical workers; thank you”.

The animated doodle shows a heart emoji being sent to all the healthcare workers. The doodle is a part of a series by the search giant to honour those who are working on the frontlines and fighting the pandemic.

Google wrote, “As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We’re launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines.”

The aim of the series is to help ‘coronavirus helpers’, like doctors, teachers, scientists, social workers and others who are ensuring delivery of essential goods and services.

Google is known for drawing attention towards historic events, celebrations, birth and death anniversaries of famous personalities via its homepage.
