The development, billed to start on May 4, has however, continued to raise concerns among Nigerians considering the recent surge in the number of people infected with COVID-19 in the country.
Joining the fray, the actress took to her social media page to offer her two cents on the need for Nigerians not to be carried away by the lockdown relaxation.
“Honestly fam. I haven’t been able to figure out, how to approach the easing of this lockdown, In as much as we have legit reasons to run out, I would rather stay home except absolutely necessary. I would advise you all do same considering the obvious situation,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also called on those who would go out to ensure compliance with basic safety measures as well as directives from the World Health Organisation (WHO) to avoid contracting the killer virus.
“Look out for yourselves. If you must go out, wear a mask, practice social distancing still till further notice. For your information, I have a mask in every car…” she added.
