The Devil’s weapon? The devil’s most powerful weapon is fear and deception. He works by twisting the truth, planting doubt and making us question God’s promises and love.
Just like he tricked Eve in the Garden of Eden, he still uses lies to pull us away from God’s plan for our lives. One of his biggest tactics is FEAR.
The devil knows that fear can stop us from trusting God and stepping into His blessings. He whispers lies like, “don’t you know you are a sinner?”, “don’t you know you are not worthy to stand before God?”, “You’re not good enough” or “God won’t help you.”
These thoughts are meant to weaken our faith and make us feel hopeless. But here’s the truth: God’s Word is stronger than any of the devil’s lies.
The goodness is that, prayer, worship and reading Scripture are our weapons against deception. When we focus on God’s truth, the devil’s lies lose their grip on us.
Remember, God is always with you and His love is greater than any trick or trap the enemy (the devil) might set. Stay close to God almighty and you’ll always overcome.
Daily Devotion: The Devil’s weapon
However, let me share this anchor scripture; “And shall say unto them, Hear, O Isreal, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies; let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them.” Deuteronomy 20:3
There is an unceasing battle with the devil and his cohorts of darkness when a person becomes born again.
However, God has armed His children to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. One of the weapons of the enemy is fear.
To overcome fear is to have faith in God and in the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Never tremble, faint, be terrified of or fear the enemy because he has been defeated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
The book of James 4:7 says “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
My dear reader, do you sometimes get frightened? Don’t fear but resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ and he will flee from you.
May God bless you , also remember to share your thought below.
