Testimony to the world? As Christians and believers, our lives should be a testimony to the world. A testimony is how we show others what God has done for us.
Jesus said in the book of Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This means that when we live in a way that honors God, people will see His goodness through us.
Our testimony is not just words; it is also how we live. When we show love, kindness, honesty and faithfulness, we reflect Christ to the world.
People are watching how we handle problems, how we treat others around us and how we stay faithful to God. Our actions can lead others to Jesus Christ and salvation.
Sharing our personal testimony is also powerful. When we tell others how God has saved us, healed us or answered our prayers, it encourages them to trust Him too.
The Bible made us to know that in the book of Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
Testimony To The World
With above said, let’s consider this anchor scripture. It reads; “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
There is a good reason for us who are born again to give thanks to God. The reason being that God gives us grace to triumph in all circumstances so that the world will know that we have a great God.
Everywhere we find ourselves, God uses us to witness to the world and people around us about Jesus Christ of Nazareth; His love, His saving grace, His mercy, His provision, His might, etc.
