Daily Devotion: God’s Responsibility? I know that you are aware that God takes care of His children, as a believer?
He has promised to provide for us, guide us and protect us. In the book of Philippians 4:19, the Bible says, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” This means that God knows what we need and will take care of us all.
God’s responsibility is to lead us in the right way. When we trust Him, God directs our steps. In the book of Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not depend on our own understanding. He is faithful and will never fail us.
God also watches over us. He protects us from danger and gives us strength when we are weak. Even when we face troubles, He is always with us. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us.
As a believer, our core responsibility is to have faith, obey His Word and pray. We must trust that God will do His part in our lives.
Daily Devotion: God’s Responsibility
My anchor scripture says “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24″
There are things that are a prerogative of God; an example is the creation of day and night. This is purely God’s responsibility; the Psalmist acknowledged that.
When we identify that something is purely the responsibility of God we should rejoice and be glad when He does it.
The Opening scripture is exhorting believers in Christ Jesus to show appreciation to God for whatsoever He does; no wonder that in the New Testament He said in everything we should give thanks to God (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
When we develop the lifestyle of rejoicing and gladness, God causes all things to work together for our good.
He will also be prompt with our prayer request because He knows we will give Him the glory. My dear reader, what did you learn from the passage above?
