God’s Purpose? God has a purpose for everything He created including you and I. In the book of Jeremiah 29:11 it says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” This means that God has a good plan for us.
Sometimes as human being clouded with challenges, we may not understand what God is doing but we must trust that He knows what is best.
His purpose is always for our good and for His glory and not for evil. Even when we face challenges, God is working behind the scenes to shape us and guide us in the right direction.
God’s greatest purpose is for us to know Him and follow Jesus Christ. He wants us to love Him, obey His Word and at the same time share His love with others.
When we live according to His will, we find true joy and peace. Let me tell you this; if you are unsure about God’s purpose for your life then pray and seek Him.
I bet you God will guide you step by step. In the book of Proverbs 3:5-6, it reminds us to trust in the Lord, and He will direct our paths.
Daily Devotion: God’s Purpose
My anchor scripture reads; “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
However, God’s purpose or the purpose of God is the unique design of God for your life; in other words, the reason for God bringing you to the planet Earth.
His purpose varies from person to person, so whatever you are going through is designed to work together for your good as a child of God.
God loves every child of His but it is not every child of God who loves God; the one who loves God is prompt to obey God and submits to His authority.
These are the ones for whom all things work together for good. The children of God who are disobedient and do not submit to authority will not have all things working together for good.
