Daily Devotion: Coming Together

Daily devotion: coming together? Christians should know that God wants His people to come together in unity.

When Christians or believers come together, we worship, pray and learn from God’s Word. This brings joy and encouragement.

In the book of Matthew 18:20, Jesus said, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” God’s presence is strong when we unite in His name.

Unity also helps us love and support each other. Life can be hard, but when we stand together, we become stronger.

The early church in the Bible shared what they had and helped those in need. This is an example for us today.

Coming together is not just about church meetings. It also means working in peace with others, forgiving, and showing love. When we are united, we reflect God’s love to the world.

Daily Devotion: Coming Together

My anchor scripture reads; “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

There is a corporate anointing we receive any time we come together as believers in fellowship with our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is the anointing Jesus prayed for the disciples that they may be one in Him. This anointing causes us to love one another, create fellowship with one another, pray for one another, be kind toward one another, learn from one another, exhort one another, sympathize with one another, etc.

Therefore, those Christians who neglect or forsake Christian fellowship are losing many benefits and will soon fall away from the faith.

My dear reader, do you enjoy Christian fellowship? Yes or no?
